

It's interesting to try, but the first part can get annoying because you can miss some things due to limited visibility. You can get a lot of droid parts and other materials - I think I found several unique items just sitting in bins. (At least one quest that was borked - it involved repairing droids around the city.) Technically you can have the planet swing towards the Sith or the Republic, but IIRC it didn't affect the main plot. You can do several quests to find out what happened to the city, why they were poisoned, etc. side quests that you want and then take off for the next planet, Manaan. (I used T3 with the regeneration unit for survivability.) Eventually you do, and the rest of the party is available to explore the planet. Before heading out to the Sand Dunes youll need a droid to interact with the. You go back and forth trying to clear the poison gas out. It makes everything 'fogged in' as you wander around, so you have to be thorough when you explore or you might miss areas. You can only play as a droid when you start off - the city is filled with poison gas.
